Recipes for babies from Mom @melallove

About the Mom…

Kamila is a mother of two girls. Recently, one of them has entered the stage of expanding the diet, so we asked Kamila to share her three favorite recipes with us that they prepare with her daughter in the cookby baby food maker. You can find these recipes in the article below. We hope they will be helpful! Kamila, apart from being a mother, is professionally a plastics technologist and the owner of a charming maltese dog and her greatest passion is traveling. How to start expanding baby’s diet? Mom’s experience.

Kamila says: “When starting the adventure with expanding my younger daughter’s diet, I was guided mainly by two factors. The first is the current recommendation of PTGHiŻDz recommendation for breastfed babies which is aimed at (…) wexclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months of life”and the other is my own intuition. Aniela, at the age of 5-6 months, was not still sitting steadily, but I saw that every time we eat close to her, she is very interested in eating. Hence, a few days before the age of 6 months, she got her first meal. I administered each new product with a certain amount of time, so that in the event of a possible allergy, I would know what caused it. I did not use any particular order when entering product groups as vegetables, fruits, gluten, dairy etc. From the beginning, I used a mixed method – blw and spoon feeding.”

She also says: “In my opinion, what we feed our children has a huge impact on their health. Excess sugar in the diet causes acidification of the body, and in such conditions all bacteria and viruses thrive. Therefore, we should eliminate sweet products in our children’s diets as long as possible, especially in such times as we are just about to face.

Why cooking at cookby?

Kamila says: “cookby is especially close to me because I am not a mother who “eats the same as a baby”. I have limited gluten in my diet for health reasons, and I am also a vegetarian. My husband doesn’t like steamed products, and neither is my older daughter. So cooking separate meals for each of my family members is time-consuming, so the smallest help is worth its weight in gold for me. Cooking at cookby does not require my involvement and constant supervision. I amalso sure that the prepared meals do not contain unnecessary ingredients. An additional advantage is the fact that even dad can cook a great dinner without asking a million questions.

Cookby is very compact. It takes up little space, you can even take it with you when you travel. Everything has been designed to make life as easy as possible – from maintenance to cleaning.
