3 ideas for a simple baby meal (6m+) – recipes

This article contains 3 recipes for simple meals for children from 6 months of age to prepare in cookby baby food maker. If your baby has already learned all of the following ingredients, nothing stands in the way of trying to combine them and give your child an interesting meal.

White vegetable cream soup – recipe

  • cauliflower 45g
  • parsley root 10g
  • potato 70g
  • cod 15g
  • parsley (optional)
Cut all the ingredients (except the parsley) any way you want so that the pieces are not too large, and then place them in the cookby basket. Pour 200 ml of water into the water container. Close the lid of the jug and the water container. Set a cooking time of 20 minutes. The baby food processor will notify you when the set time is up. When the cooking process in the food maker is finished, use the basket reversing knob to pour the contents into the jug. Add the parsley and blend it all so that there are still lumps. Transfer to a bowl. Enjoy your meal!

Nutrients in a meal:

Potato is a valuable dietary supplement and a source of vitamin C, dietary fiber and potassium, which regulates blood pressure.
Parsley root– potassium and dietary fiber.
Parsley– source of vitamin C.
Codis a source of easily digestible protein and good-quality fat.
Cauliflower contains vitamin C, dietary fiber and folate to prevent anemia.

BLW lunch with fish – recipe

  • cod 50g
  • carrot 50g
  • potato 50g
  • butter 5g

Cut the carrot and potato into cubes or any other shape – we decided to inspire you with vegetable cutouts. Dice the fish. Fill the water container (200 ml) and put the prepared ingredients into the basket of the cookby baby food processor. Set the cooking time to 15-20 minutes (the larger and thicker the pieces, the longer cooking time). When the cooking process in the robot is finished, put the cooked ingredients on a plate and then put butter on the fish until melted. Enjoy your meal!

Vitamins in a meal:

Carrot it is a source of B-carotene, from which vitamin A is produced in the body, necessary for proper growth in children. Beta carotene also strengthens the proper functioning of the immune system, is responsible for good eyesight and skin condition.
Potato is a valuable dietary supplement and a source of vitamin C, dietary fiber and potassium, which regulates blood pressure.
Cod it is a source of easily digestible protein and good-quality fat.
Masło it is a source of fat and cholesterol necessary for the proper development of the brain in children (brain development ends between the age of 5-6). Butter is also a base for dissolving vitamins A and D.

Fruit jelly for babies – recipe

  • apple 200g
  • blueberries 70g
  • potato starch (optional)

Peel the apple and then dice it. Transfer the blueberries and the sliced apple to the cookby basket. Pour 200 ml of water into the water container and set the cooking time to 10 minutes. Close the lid of the jug and the water container. When the cooking process is finished, pour the excess water from the bottom of the jug into the mug – this will make it easier for you to control the thickness of the mousse you are preparing. Usethe basket rotation knob to pour the cooked contents into the jug. Blend and put into a bowl.

Our comment: you will prepare the entire meal at cookby. If your jelly is too thin, you can add 1 teaspoon of potato starch and mix well. Remember that the mousse must be hot then.
If you decide to diversify the meal for an older child (12m+), you can serve the above-mentioned mousse with pancakes or waffles. It is delicious!
